Keep Up The Momentum

Can I keep up the momentum I’ve achieved this week? Its turning out to be an excellent promotion week. Its still only Wednesday morning and already I’ve received 2×5-star and 1×4-star reviews (for different books) as well as a glowing FB message from the satisfied reader of “The CEO Gets Her Man”. I’ve also had two reviewers request copies of “CEO”. Then this morning I discover my cover of CEO is fronting an advertisement for Kindle e-readers. Yippee! For someone who never even got around to making New Year’s resolutions – probably because I can never keep them anyway – this year has started with a roar. Now the big question is, how do I ensure this good fortune continues? Aww! I have no idea!

I guess continuing what I’m doing is the key. Continue building a FB and twitter following, participate in discussions with those “friends” and keep busy on my Yahoo groups. Drawing readers to my website by providing interesting snippets is also essential – I’m making a note of this in my brain, “find some interesting snippets” lol. A marketing adviser is telling me not to expect huge advances within short time frames but its so difficult not to have high expectations.  But whatever I manage to come up with over the next little while I’ll definitely be working to keep up the momentum I’ve somehow achieved this week. And perhaps by Monday, I’ll take out my WIP and send all those dust bunnies running because its time for “Justin’s Story” to get some air again.
